Let me introduce myself, my name is Darby and I am a marine biologist, scuba diver instructor & ocean enthusiast obsessed with the underwater world!

 

After growing up in the country in England, at the age of 17 I moved 5 hours away from home to Cornwall to be by the coast. I studied marine biology at college in Falmouth and then continued my studies at Portsmouth University where I got my degree in marine biology. 

 

I became a volunteer for the BDMLR as a marine mammal medic which led me to my obsession with seals and studying their behaviour.

I then pursued my diving career as a PADI Divemaster & Instructor and I am excited where life takes me next!
